The single area causing most complaints with users of Oracle SOA Suite 11g is the issue of database growth. The importance of purging completed instances was initially not stressed in the previous 11g release, and this has led to numerous production stability issues for many customers. The purge scripts were adequate at best, and it took numerous patch sets to get them right.
