Configuring WebTier

OHS is installed on the local storage of both the WebTier servers and on shared storage for MidTier.

Installing OHS on MidTier

To install OHS on a shared storage for MidTier, perform the following steps:

  1. On SOAHOST1, start the OHS installer:
    source envMidTier.sh
$SOFTWARE_DIR/fmw_12.1.3.0.0_ohs_linux64.bin
  2. In the Inventory Directory field, enter /u01/share/oracle/oraInventory and then click on OK.
  3. Click on Next.
  4. In the Oracle Home field, enter the value for [ORACLE_HOME] (for example, /u01/share/oracle/middleware/products/fmw1213).
  5. Click on Next.
  6. Select Collocated HTTP Server (Managed through WebLogic server) and then click on Next.
  7. Click on Next.
  8. Click on Install.
  9. Click on Finish.
