The displayed record listing can be given a title and footer by using the TTITLE and BTITLE commands, which are entered prior to the execution of the SELECT statement. The TTITLE command will cause a text string composed of literal text and variables to appear at the top of each new page of displayed records. The BTITLE command will do the same for the bottom of each page of displayed records. The TTITLE OFF and BTITLE OFF commands are used to remove the settings from memory.
Following the TTITLE and BTITLE keywords, you can enter literal text, variables, and special formatting options. The literal text must be enclosed by single quotation marks. The TTITLE and BTITLE formatting options are listed in Table 11.1.
