PASSWORD
PASSW[ORD] [username]
The PASSWORD command allows you to change your Oracle password using SQL*Plus. For example:
SQL> PASSWORD Changing password for JONATHAN Old password: ******** New password: ******** Retype new password: ******** Password changed
The username is the user whose password you want to change. The default is to change your own password. You need the ALTER USER privilege to change another user’s password.
