Adding content query to a navigation model

By adding content query to a navigation model, you are able to add a dynamic folder that contains links to all the content matching the query you provide.

This way, you don't need to add a link each time content is added. It is also dynamically generated, so when a new content item matches the query, it will be added to the model.

Getting ready

Before you begin with this recipe, you need a WebCenter portal application with a connection to content repository. It will only work with a connection to a content server or Oracle portal repository.

How to do it...

  1. Open default-navigation-mode.xml from Web Content/oracle/Webcenter/portalapp/navigations.
  2. Press the Add button and select Content Query from the context ...
