Linking to a document

Linking documents is quiet useful in a lot of cases. By linking documents, the users will have a better overview of the content. No need for linking documents in the content itself, just create a link to an existing document. This also allows you to keep the content and document separated.

Getting ready

For this recipe you need a WebCenter Portal application with a connection to a content server. You can find the recipe on how to create a connection to a content server in Chapter 6, Integrating content with document services.
