Securing pages with the page hierarchy

One of the first things you want to do when dealing with security in your portal is to make sure that people only see the pages they are allowed to see. Suppose you have some pages with internal applications on them or internal content—you don't want public users or customers to see those pages.

This kind of security is configured in the page hierarchy of your portal. The security model of WebCenter is based upon the ADF security model. The security we will set in the page hierarchy is an addition to the ADF security model.
