Undeploying an application

When you have an application that is no longer needed, you want to remove it from the server, because otherwise they will consume unneeded memory and resources.

Getting ready

For this recipe you need to have an application deployed to a WebLogic server. You can also read the previous recipe on how to deploy applications.

How to do it

  1. Go to the console of your WebLogic server.
  2. Log in with an administrator.
  3. Click on Deployments in the tree in the Domain Structure:

  4. Check the checkbox next to the application you wish to undeploy.
  5. Press the Delete button located above the table.

That's it. The application has been undeployed.
