Managing connections in the Enterprise Manager

When you develop a WebCenter Portal application, you often need to create connections to several services. For example you will need to create a connection to a content repository or to a discussion server. When you deploy the portal to a staging or production environment, you need to modify these connection parameters. You can do this by either modifying the connection itself in JDeveloper, or you can just modify the connection in the Enterprise Manager.
