As you can see, Oracle WebLogic Server has a wide variety of options, possibilities, and tools in case something really goes wrong, but still it will be a tough job to discover the cause of an error and come up with a solution. This is also because of the complex IT infrastructure many companies have. A common best practice in the case of unclear problems is to form a team with all the right candidates, from a DBA to a network guy, and of course yourself, as the WebLogic administrator. That could help in detecting the cause of the problem and narrow down the options of systems in the chain that could fail.
