PURPOSE OF THE CHAPTER
This chapter is not a typical part of a standard book on organisational behaviour (OB). Its inclusion is motivated by the developing thoughts on conation and evolutionary biology and psychology, which explains many aspects of human behaviour in an organisational context. Though many of us try to behave in a particular way, we are often disappointed with the results.
