FUNDAMENTALS OF ORGANISATIONAL BEHAVIOUR
PURPOSE OF THE CHAPTER
Having learnt about organisations, management, and behaviour in the earlier chapters, the purpose of this chapter is to integrate these aspects and project organisational behaviour (OB) as a field full of concepts and tools to achieve individual goals and organisational vision/mission concurrently. Therefore, the chapter highlights the interdisciplinary nature, dynamic evolution, and the contemporary challenges that OB faces due to rapid changes in the external environment. In doing so, the chapter sets the stage for a detailed study of OB.
