depend upon the following characteristics:
Channel capacity: is refers to the amount of information that a channel can transmit
without signi cant distortion. A TV broadcast has greater channel capacity than a memo.
Capacity is important when time is limited.
Channel modi ability: is is the degree to which transmission can be changed while
