Transformational leadership concepts have considerable application, resulting in organiza-
tional e ectiveness and leadership development. Transformational leadership is perceived to
be positive. Research ndings suggest that organizations can bene t from encouraging their
leaders to be more nurturing and less aggressive (Ross and O erman 1997). Based on the
