Types of Managerial Decisions
A manager is required to take di erent types of decisions. ese can be classi ed into three
major types:
1. Basic and routine decisions
2. Personal and organizational decisions
3. Programmed and non-programmed decisions.
Basic decisions are decisions that are taken generally only once and have a long-lasting impact
on the working of an organization. For example, if an entrepreneur has to decide to start a
