Organizational Strategy
Organizational strategy refers to the way the organization positions itself in relation to its
stakeholders, given the organization’s resources, capabilities, and mission (Kilman 1984). In
addition to the external environment, technology, and size, the structure and design of the
organization gets a ected by the strategic choices that managers make, formulate, and imple-
ment. Managers within the organization attempt to give shape to the design and structure of
the organization based on interactive in uence of di erent factors.
