Overview of OSPF-Related RFCs
To properly reference the technical standards used in the design and evolution of OSPF, each of them are briefly discussed in chronological order as they were standardized by the IETF.
The following is a list of the RFCs that have been published by the IETF relating to the OSPF protocol. Each RFC contains a brief summary of its contents and purpose. Furthermore, the tracking of the RFC evolution includes information on those that are current and those that have been made obsolete. This enables you to understand where you can go for additional reading or research.
