Summary

This chapter discussed the fundamental concepts of routing protocols and analyzed the differences between the two most important link-state protocols, IS-IS and OSPF. One section was dedicated to objectively analyzing and supporting the choice of a network protocol. Hopefully though, the inherent benefits of OSPF are readily apparent to you!
