Case Study: OSPF with Stub and Totally Stubby Areas

In this case study, you have determined that Morpheus is having performance problems. If you convert area 201 into an OSPF stub area, some of the problems are alleviated. These problems might be related to low memory, a slow processor, or a general load. Altering the configuration of the network is a way to solve these problems without spending money.

Start this change by telling Morpheus and Trinity that area 201 should now be treated as a stub area, as shown in Example 5-47.
