Before we talk about training and using outsourced VAs, let’s talk about fears. One of your fears may involve the process of outsourcing abroad. You may associate the term outsourcing abroad with the Kathy Lee Gifford or Nike scandals of the nineties. You may even imagine starving children chained to sewing machines and dingy, Third World working conditions. If so, put those ideas aside. That’s not what I’m talking about when I suggest the use of outsourced assistants. One major difference is the industry. We’re not talking about manufacturing; we’re talking technology.
