Make Continuous Learning a Part of Your Daily Routine

Our capacity for learning is becoming the currency we trade on in our careers. Where we once went to work to learn to do a job, now learning is the job. Adaptive and proactive learners are highly prized assets for organizations, and when we invest in our learning, we create long-term dividends for our career development.

Continual learning is important for everyone, regardless of career stage. But the risk for more experienced workers is that they get trapped in doing “more of the same,” which reduces career resilience. To remain relevant and adaptable, those who have been working for longer need to prioritize making learning part of their everyday.
