In Chapter 7 you learned how to create a dial plan on the BTS 10200 and how to configure it for local or ONNET call routing. Now you will learn how to configure OFFNET routing.
The basic steps to configure OFFNET routing are as follows:
Step 1. Define routes for trunk groups (route table).
Step 2. Optionally, define route guides for policy-based routing (route guide table).
Step 3. Optionally, define carriers (carrier table).
Step 4. Define destinations (destination table).
Step 5. Define dial plan entries (dial plan table).
