In This Chapter
A Pages for iPad document is the sum of all its parts: text and headers, images, shapes, charts, and tables. In that sense, this chapter is the heart of Pages for iPad. Here’s where you learn how to arrange all those parts on the page so they work together.
Arranging Objects
Thanks to the iPad’s touch screen, Pages for iPad includes a bunch of ways to move and group objects. The nudge motion—and its multi-fingered variations—is a good example of how gestures are used to lay out the page. (See Table 8.1.)
