Welcome to the wonderful world of digital painting! This book is designed to empower you creatively and to help you stretch your artistic muscles. The goals of the instruction I share within these pages are two-fold:
1 to provide you with a sound and thorough technical foundation and deep understanding of the powerful tools of digital painting, such that the computer becomes invisible as you paint; and
2 to share with you an expressive, open and improvisational approach to making art that balances structure with spontaneity.
