Summary

We spent a good part of this chapter working on the game to make up for the time we lost in the last chapter. Even so, we talked about some very important things we can do with Panda3D.

We talked about how to implement mouse picking and what we might use it for. We also discussed the different types of Intervals, their strengths, and how to employ them to best effect.

So far, our game has been under a vow of silence. In the next chapter, that vow comes to an end with the introduction of sound effects. Get ready to really hear those engines roaring!
