F&C Investments is a global financial services firm based in London. It provides asset management services for over three million customers. Previously, F&C provided its clients with paper-based reports and account summaries. Many of these reports were expensive to print, and the financial information they contained changed often. In 2008, the company began providing its clients with PDF-based mutual fund fact sheets created by InDesign Server. F&C’s clients can log on to the F&C website (Figure 14.1, left) to download a PDF fact sheet with current data.
