Chapter 6. Information in Motion

This chapter discusses the patterns that cover how information is shared between the organization’s information nodes. There are two pattern groups:

• The information requests patterns cover how information is accessed directly from a remote information node.

• The information flow patterns cover how information is copied between information nodes.

Figure 6.1 shows where these pattern groups fit in the pattern language.
