Chapter 7. Information Processing

The information processing pattern groups describe how an organization produces and consumes information:

INFORMATION TRIGGERS describe how information processes are initiated.

INFORMATION PROCESSES describe the types of automated processes to be found in an organization and how they use information.

These patterns provide some of the base information management components for the organization, as shown in Figure 7.1.
