Chapter 3. Networking Computer Systems

You may be asking yourself what a PC desktop-support tech is doing performing any sort of networking function. Although trade schools, universities, and certification vendors may segregate IT operations into distinct and separate categories, real life is rarely so neat. Desktop support isn't all hard drives and RAM sticks. There are quite a number of elementary networking tasks you will perform in the course of your duties.
