Purpose
This appendix describes the People CMM, the maturity levels, and the process areas that correspond to each maturity level of the People CMM, and the goals and practices in each process area.
Structure of the People CMM
The People CMM consists of five maturity levels that lay successive foundations for continuously improving talent, developing an effective workforce, and successfully managing the human assets of the organization. Each maturity level is a well-defined evolutionary plateau that institutionalizes a level of capability for developing the organization’s workforce.
