acquaintance   A person you know but do not have close ties to. Someone you have met or may see occasionally, but with whom you have not built a bond of friendship.

aggressive   Crossing the line from being assertive to pushing for a stance, need, or desire. Taken too far, can be a win-lose attitude wherein the aggressive partner wants to win the point at any cost.

apology   An expression, either spoken or written, of regret for having made a mistake, hurt someone, or omitted something. An expression of concern for the feelings of someone you have let down, hurt, or caused difficulty for.
