With the survey results in hand, it’s time to let both management and employees know what was learned and what actions will be taken. It’s crucial that the employees be actively involved in the postsurvey phase if an organization is to attain significant improvements in employee satisfaction and engagement. As organizational development consultant Leila Bulling Towne says, “If there is a small wound before the survey and then you don’t communicate right away after the survey, that wound becomes a disease.”
