During the first months, the new employee starts to get glimpses (and sometimes fuller views) of what it is like to work inside the culture of the organization. The manager and the HR partner can help fill in the cultural information for the new employee to avoid confusion and conflict. These conversations should pick up right where they left off in the selection process. A key is to make sure that the employee talks about what is different about the culture from what she expected and what is consistent to what she expected based on her initial impressions.
