Teams have a greater chance of success if they are formed deliberately, thoughtfully, with intention and purpose. This gives all members a chance to be engaged and involved in creating the team, encouraging buy-in from the very beginning. The forming stage creates the foundation for performance and success. Coaching at this stage can lead to big dividends later when the team starts performing.
