About five years ago, I moved to a house near a beach and decided to take up sailing.
I didn’t grow up around boats. I had spent very little time on the water up to this point. So although the idea of ‘taking up sailing’ sounded great, I had no idea where to start. Thankfully, I met some boat-loving people and started spending time with them. I went sailing and learned just by watching and doing what they told me to do.
