About the Subject Adviser

BRIAN J. HALL is a Professor of Business Administration at Harvard Business School, where he is a member of the Negotiation, Organizations and Markets Unit and a faculty affiliate of the Rock Center for Entrepreneurship. Previously, he was an assistant professor of economics in the Harvard Economics Department. Professor Hall received his BA, MA, and PhD in economics from Harvard University and holds an MPhil in economics from Cambridge University. He was on the staff of the President’s Council of Economics Advisers in 1990–1991.
