Tshe problem is not finding solutions; we have the solutions. We can look around at local successes and neighborhood innovations or city, state, tribal, and regional best practices and see what works. We have the solutions—the best practices are the solutions. The problem is government. Traditional government gets in the way of the solutions. We can fix government by building multi-agency structures that leverage best practices, streamline bureaucracy, and improve internal processes. Stepping back, we will see governance as a tapestry of teams, partnerships, and relationships taking shape as living, performance-driven networks.
