Cultivate Your Scorecard
In this chapter, Vince learns how to use his scorecard to monitor performance, interpret performance levels, and determine appropriate actions to take. He is able to identify gaps in the measurement information that is available to manage performance, and he assigns people to take action to close the gaps.
Vince also learns how to set appropriate targets, measure improvement, and strengthen links between scorecards. He begins to realize the benefits of managing with scorecards by more quickly identifying problems, aligning work processes, and linking employee efforts with business targets.
