Red Teams and WRAP
Previous chapters have examined how the habits of Deferential and Domineering (Right- and Left-Side) personality types influence confidence, teamwork, conflict, communications, and leadership … and methods to raise effectiveness. This chapter addresses how a leader’s personality drives judgment and decision making (JDM) on teams and presents two methods to support sound JDM: Red Teams and the WRAP model developed by Chip Heath and Dan Heath.1 Regardless of one’s personality, these two methods help individuals and teams exercise strong JDM by combating common JDM errors.
