(b = 384). e power spectra of the local sinusoidal and nonsinusoidal
fringe signals selected by the corresponding Gaussian window are car-
ried out for comparative analysis, as shown in Figures2.4a and 2.4b. For
the nonsinusoidal fringe signal, the fundamental spectral component of
the local signal centered at the 128th pixel is superposed by the higher-
order spectral components of the local signal centered at the 384th pixel.
