7.5 DUAL PZT IN HOLOGRAPHIC MOIRÉ
To recap, holographic moiré is essentially an incoherent superposition of
two interferometric systems that result in the formation of a moiré pat-
tern. Figure7.1b illustrates a typical optical setup for holographic moiré
[11]. In the optical setup, moiré carries information regarding the in-plane
displacement component along the x-direction, and the carrier carries
the information regarding the out-of-plane displacement component.
