Holding your camera loosely with an outstretched arm and snapping a photo arbitrarily sometimes produces really exciting results. This method is how I captured the photograph of the jogger (page 145). Within a collection of coincidental photos, there is often one that has real thematic and compositional merit. One need not equate this method with deliberate photographic composition.
