Quality of light between two lights and one box.

Q: PROBABLY A BLONDE QUESTION BUT HERE IT GOES. MY QUESTION IS IN RELATION TO “QUALITY OF LIGHT.” IF, LET’S SAY, I SHOOT A HEADSHOT AT F4 WITH A SPEEDLIGHT IN A 28″ SOFTBOX AND THEN I SHOOT THE SAME RIG, ONLY THIS TIME I’M USING AN EINSTEIN AT F4, IS THE QUALITY OF LIGHT THE SAME? SORRY ABOUT THE BIMBO QUESTION.

A: The main light hitting the subject will be “softbox” light no matter what light is driving it. Some might pixel peep and find some sort of difference in the shadow under the third eyelash from the left, but yeah.... The modifier is the main “quality of light” part of this equation. Not the light inside of the modifier. Not a bimbo question at all.
