Q: I JUST SET UP A HOME STUDIO (GOOD SPACE) AND I MOSTLY SHOOT EDITORIAL PORTRAITS AND SOMETIMES PRODUCTS. NOW HOW CAN I USE “STUDIO” AND “STUDIO REPUTATION” TO MY BENEFIT? HOW CAN I KEEP MORE BELLS RINGING WITH IT?

A: Getting a studio isn’t one of those “if you build it, they will come” sort of things. You need to be out and about getting people interested in you and your work, whether you have a studio or not. No one is sitting around wishing they could just find a studio photographer. Know what I mean?
