Cards & Battery system.
Q: HOW DO YOU DEAL WITH YOUR MEMORY CARDS AND BATTERIES ON A SHOOT? I’M ALWAYS GETTING CONFUSED BETWEEN WHAT I’VE USED AND HAVEN’T USED. I NEED A SYSTEM.
A: Good question. I had that problem for a while when I was getting started. I have a system down now that I stick to at all times.
For memory cards, I keep them in a Think Tank Photo Pixel Pocket Rocket. Before going on the job I check all my cards and format them in camera. When I walk on a job, I want all cards clear and clean. I will not format these cards again until they have been downloaded and backed up to at least two different hard drives.
