CHAPTER THREE
Photo Editing RAW in Bridge
Adobe Bridge is roughly analogous to a traditional light table,
and is therefore the perfect environment for photo editing your
RAW files. Bridge 2.0 (bundled with Photoshop CS3) features
several improvements and features, such as the Loupe tool for
close-up viewing, a stacking feature that makes it easier than
ever to edit your RAW files, and Filter panel for quickly culling
your shots based on several criteria. Its also been optimized to
generate thumbnails and previews faster and for better overall
performance. Let’s take a look at how to use Bridge for photo
editing, and then, in subsequent chapters, we’ll delve more
deeply into the actual processing of RAW data using the two
other distinct environments: Photoshop and Camera Raw.
