23.3. Specifying and Using Color Settings

Once you've generated a color profile for your monitor (which you actually did, because you've been convinced to embrace color management, right?), it's time to bring Photoshop (and eventually, your other installed Creative Suite apps) into the picture. Choose EditColor Settings, or press Ctrl+Shift+K (+Shift+K on a Mac) to open the somewhat daunting Color Settings window, shown in Figure 23.2. The following sections describe the functions available in the Color Settings window.

23.3.1. Color Settings

If you're not ready to jump into the deep end and customize every aspect of your color workflow, the Color Settings window offers several presets for the most common working scenarios under the Settings popup menu.
