We all make mistakes, but one of the great things about living in the Digital Age is that most of our flubs can be either detected for us by our smarty-pants computers, or we can zap them with the wonderful and ubiquitous Undo command.

Photoshop takes this already-invaluable concept —going back in time, before the error was made — and puts it on steroids, giving us a plethora of ways to fix our slip-ups or to change our minds. In fact, if Alexander Pope had had Photoshop, he would have said "To err is human, to undo is awesome."

In this chapter, you'll learn about the many ways Photoshop can help you go back in time and change the past.
