It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
20.6. Summary
This chapter introduced you to Photoshop's plethora of Filter effects. You learned about the group of filters used to perform tasks like sharpening and blurring, and you learned about the wide variety of creative effects that can be produced by the Special Effects filters.
Additionally, you saw how you could create complex combinations of effects using the Filter Gallery, and you learned how to apply effects non-destructively through the use of Smart Filters. You finished up by learning a few advanced special effects techniques, combining the use of filters and layer styles to create clouds and fire.
