Summary

In this chapter, we created a profile screen for our members to display information about themselves to other members, as well as basic provisions for them to manage who has access to that information. We also created a profile status and message system, so that our users can update their network with what they are currently doing, and their network of contacts can respond by commenting on the status, indicating that they like or dislike it, or by writing their own message on that users profile.

With profiles, statuses, and public messages in place, the next stage for us is to allow users to see a stream of activity from their network, showing new updates from their contacts.
